Instead of a formal Tennis Tournament, this year we will have a new round robin Tennis Outing, where everyone gets to play at least several matches. The Outing will be for Doubles Teams only, and open to all Nauset Heights residents, their extended families, and house guests.
Doubles Teams will be split into two Groups – the Red and Green Teams – and you will have the opportunity to play against every other team in your Group. The Doubles Team with the best record in each Group will then play a Finals Match at the end of the Outing. All round robin Matches will be a ten-game pro set, with a seven point tie-breaker if necessary. The Finals Match between the two Groups will be the best of two sets, with a ten-point tie-breaker if needed.
Players of all levels are welcome. Doubles Teams can be Mixed, Women’s, or Parent/Child. If you don’t have a partner, please sign up and we will find you a partner. Depending upon the number of Doubles Teams we have, the Outing will conclude on Sat, Aug 14, or continue on Sun, Aug 15.
